The "New Era in Healthcare and the Search for Solutions in Complementary Health Insurance" Brings Together All Sides of Healthcare!

Distinguished Industry Representatives,

20 months have passed since the pandemic first debuted on the global agenda, and two years have passed since it first emerged on our national agenda. Covid-19 caused 5 million deaths during this time. In our country, we lost more than 68 thousand lives. The number of people who passed away from various pandemic-related causes is not yet known.

The reality of the pandemic has driven people to focus on health investments and infrastructure in all countries around the world. In this regard, our country is in the front when we consider global examples. The public, academic, and corporate sectors have struggled hard throughout this process and still do. By the way, I sincerely thank all our staff working in the healthcare sector.

The pandemic changed all of our routines, therefore we made a concerted effort to adapt by relocating the meetings and congresses that hold our sectoral gatherings online. Even though we have benefited greatly from it and seen its beneficial aspects, we have missed these sector gatherings as much. I’m hoping that we’ll be able to spend more time together soon.

As you know, the Private Hospitals Platform hosted the ninth and tenth Health Summits online. We organized the 9th and 10th Health Summits in 2020 and 2021, and thousands of people from hospitals, universities, medical equipment companies, IT companies, and related organizations attended.

We will present significant issues relating to our industry at our Health Summit, which will be held for the 11th time this year on October 20–21, 2022, especially our report entitled “Complementary Health Insurance – Problems, Opportunities and Solution Suggestions,” on which we have been working for two years. Although our program will take place in Ankara, it will be a hybrid event that may be watched online as well. At the 11th Health Summit, we hope to see managers from the private and public healthcare sectors as well as representatives from all businesses that offer goods and services to the industry.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee,

Dr. Mehmet ALTUĞ
President of Private Hospitals Platform
